Are you going on holidays and want your cat to have a holiday too? Here at Campsie Vet Hospital you can rest assured that they will receive the best care possible with trained, caring staff.
Our cattery has been purpose built with the comfort of your cat in mind! Our cat condos have separate eating/sleeping and toileting areas. We are also able to join condos together to accommodate a family of cats and give them extra space.
Should your cat require medication to be administered while staying with us, our trained staff will be able to administer this safely.
We feed Royal Canin premium diets in our boarding facilities however if you own a fussy feline then you are welcome to supply your own food. Staff will monitor daily that your cat has eaten and toileted. If there are any concerns with the health of your cat, the vet is available to examine your cat and assist. Owners are then advised of any treatment or actions required.
Daily cuddles with our nurses are also part of the package with some play time within the cattery. Please note, we do not let cats out together unless they belong to the same family and are bonded.
Feliway diffusers are also used throughout your cat’s stay in our cattery. Feliway is a synthetic product that mimics the pheromones of a mother cat. These pheromones comfort and reassure cats in their environment and help in reducing signs of stress. We believe this is an important part of your cat’s stay with us especially if they are known to be stressed in new situations.
Annual vaccinations are required to be up to date and not due within two weeks of the boarding admission. Vaccinations certificates are to be presented to staff when booking your cat’s boarding. It is also advisable that flea and worming treatments be up to date to give your cat the best protection against parasites.
